Dr.
Dabbs is a graduate of the University of
Alabama School of Medicine and completed
his residency in ophthalmology at the University
of Alabama Eye Foundation Hospital in Birmingham,
Alabama in 1996. He is board certified by
the American Board of Ophthalmology and
is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Dabbs is a member of the American Academy
of Ophthalmology and President of the Alabama
Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Dabbs also
serves on the Medical Advisory Board of
the Alabama Department of Public Safety,
the Board of Trustees of the Alabama Eye
Bank and the UAB Alumni Executive Committee.
Dr. Dabbs specializes in no-stitch cataract
surgery, eyelid surgery, treatment of eye
diseases and injuries and Cosmetic
Botox treatments.
Dr.
Dabbs is active in community and political
affairs and is a devoted husband and father
to two very energetic boys.

Dr.
“Tony” is a graduate of the
Medical College of Georgia and completed
his residency at the University of Alabama
Eye Foundation in Birmingham, Alabama in
1994. He is board certified by the American
Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of
the American Academy of Ophthalmology and
the Alabama Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr.
Tony specializes in no-stitch cataract surgery,
eyelid surgery and treatment of eye diseases
and injuries. Dr. Tony also has an undergraduate
degree in chemical engineering and worked
several years and the Savannah River nuclear
plant in Georgia before making a career
change to medicine. Dr. Tony is a true visionary
and together with Dr. Dabbs pioneered one
of only three Ophthalmology-Specific Ambulatory
Surgery Centers in the State of Alabama.
Dr. Tony is 100% committed to providing
start-to-finish eye care to his patients
in the most controlled, comfortable settings
possible.
Dr.
Tony is very active in his church and community
and is a devoted husband and father to 4
children.
