Mark Hill, M.D.
Ophthalmologist
Dr. Hill is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Alabama Eye Foundation Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated with a dual major in Religion and the History of Science from Harvard University. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and serves on the Board of Directors of the Alabama Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Hill specializes in no-stitch cataract surgery, micro-invasive glaucoma surgery, refractive cataract surgery, eyelid surgery, and the treatment of eye diseases such as glaucoma, diabetes, and macular degeneration.
He is a devoted husband and father to 4 children. Dr. Hill is very involved in their church where he is a Deacon and loves coaching soccer. He and his wife Dr. Cynthia Ellis Hill returned to Gadsden to raise their kids and practice medicine in their hometown.
